Bears, Hornets both drop football games

The Delhi Bears and the Rayville Hornets were both unable to find their first win of the season last Friday night in football action.
The Delhi Bears lost a hard-fought battle to Cedar Creek last Friday night.
The 62-44 loss left the Bears at 0-4 on the season while Cedar Creek kept its undefeated streak alive at 5-0.
Delhi will face a tough game this Friday as the Bears travel to Monroe to take on the Ouachita Christian Eagles. The Eagles will enter the match at 3-1 on the year.
Kickoff for that game is 7 p.m. Friday in Monroe.
The Rayville Hornets were blanked 24-0 by the Ferriday Trojans Friday night.
The loss leaves Rayville at 0-4 on the season while Ferriday rises to 4-0.
The Hornets will be at home this week when they take on the Vidalia Vikings. The Vikings are entering the match at 4-0.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Rayville.
