Hornets score victory; Bears, Dragons post losses

The Rayville Hornets defeated the General Trass Panther 40-12 last Friday night.
The Hornets are now 6-4 overall and 5-1 in district play.
The Rayville Hornets will host Delhi Charter School Friday in a playoff game.
DCS is 4-6 overall and 3-4 in district play.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Nov. 10.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Bears lost to St. Frederick by a final score of 31-6 last Friday night.
The Bears are now 3-7 overall and 2-4 in district play.
The Delhi Bears will travel to St. Gabriel Friday for a playoff game against the East Iberville Tigers.
The Tigers are 5-5 overall and 2-4 in district play.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Nov. 10.
In other action the Mangham Dragons fell 22-0 to the Varnado Wildcats last Friday night.
The Dragons are now 7-3 overall and 6-3 in district.
Quarterback Adam Eley hit three of 15 pass attempts for 11 yards. Donovan Hanes caught two of them for nine yards and Joe Colvin caught one for two yards.
Cam Wilmore led the Dragon rushing with 17 carries for 76 yards. Donovan Haynes had eight carries for 34 yards. Tyler Haynes had five for 15 yards.
The Mangham Dragons will host a playoff game against the Lake Arthur Tigers Friday.
The Tigers are 5-5 overall and 2-4 in district.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. in Mangham.
