Daniel Rawls celebrated his number 65th birthday with a great party at his house on April1 4th, The meal was prepaird by Lil John Graham, grilled steaks, boiled shrimp, twice baked potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, garlic bread, tea, ice cream and cake. Those who enjoyed this was, David Chelle, Remona, Reina Rawls, Jeaneete and Namon Barrier, Toney and Nita Brock, Glenda Rawls, Ronald and Angie Rawls, Chad Neal, and Heather Rawls, Ricky Graham, Resa McKethan, Dick Rankin from Alaska, Johnny and Anita Grahm and Lil John, Joahu Graham, Dustin and Angeleah Simmons. There was nine great nieces and nephews who were there. Did this “bunch” have a good time! His Birthday gift from David was an all expense trip to the deer hunt at Philadelphia, Ha!
Vanessa and Lisa David motored up to memphis on Monday for a banking school enjoyed the trip and food.
Jeanne Thompson, Lisa Dixon and Kellie Ryan carried their mom, Fannie May Wynn to Natchitoches on Saturday for her class reunion. They had a great time with all her classmates. Don’t for your 50 years reunion at Lloyd Swains home May 16th. Give Lloyd a call and do plan to attend.
Maria Arnold, Bride-elect of Juri Thompson was honored on Sunday, April 19th, 2015 at the Lea Joiner Methodist Church. The spread on the refreshment table was, chips and dips, sausage in barbecue sauce, open face sandwiches, tea, lemonade and much more. The decorations was the brides favorite sunflower and clocks of all shapes and sizes formed the centerpiece for each table. She received many useful gifts for their new life together. The couple will say their I does on June 13th, 2015.
I was by to see Nellie and Douglas Thompson on Sunday afternoon. Nellie is recuperation slowly from her surgery. Our get-well wishes and prayers remain with her.
