For the Believers, Spring Is Eternal

All nature heeds the call of Spring as God awakens everything. And all that seem so dead and still experiences a sudden thrill. As springtime lays a magic hand across God’s vast and fertile hand oh how can anyone stand by and watch a sapphire springtime sky or see a fragile flower break through what just a day ago or two seemed barren ground still hard with frost, but in God’s world no life is last and flowers sleep beneath the ground but when they hear spring’s waking sound they push themselves through layers of clay to reach the sunlight of God’s day. And man like flowers, too must sleep until he is called from the “darkened deep” to live in that place where angels sing and where there is Eternal Spring.

Rechelle Rawls, Reina and Stacie have returned from tier four day vacation in Denver, Colorado hosting their stay was best freinds, Jason Caldwell and Chip Gridroz. The best thing out there for Reina was an English bulldog Bonsai, they were inseparable when at their beautiful home. Jason had their stay all planned out. Delicious hot chocolate at the Alpine visitors center at the Fall River Pass at 11,796 feet high.

They saw Cirgree de saleil. On to the mountains to Pass Lake in the beautiful waterfalls then snowball fights. their last sights was at the Denver Aquarium to see strange and beautiful fish. Reina’s favorite was the purple mermaids. It was bittersweet leaving but Reina was missing her Papa, Maw Maw and Aunt Monie,

Another trip is in the near future.

Here on Tuesday was J.W. and Dot Thrower from Shreveport, Betty from West Monroe, Linda Futch from Monroe and Jo Donald. They were on their way over to the Mason Peach Farm for some juicy peaches. Was so good to see them, missed Bobby and Joya Thrower not being with them.

Trey and Kim Stokes, Addie and Kenzie went out to West Texas for a week with his family, Corrine Stokes, Bridgette, Breanna, Stephanie Little, Hannah and Grandmother Angie. I’m sure the twins had a great time. Must be nice for a week get-a-way.

There was a group of twenty four from West New Home Church who enjoyed the weekend on the Buffalo river, they all had a great time but tired when they returned home.
