Greg and Jeanni Thompson, Ben and Emily Thompson, Ainsley, Ahndi and Cooper enjoyed a week vacation in a condo down at Gulf shores. I don’t think Greg enjoyed the sandy beaches and water. He spent most of his time on the balcony, Ha. Ben and Emily and the Children left the beach and went by Baton Rouge for a couple of days with Trey and Merideth Dixon and their little ones. All were warn out but all good things come to an end.

Here on Saturday was my cousins Sharon and Mike Troist from Bastrop. Finally Hilda Clack took time out form the yard work to come for a visit. As always we enjoyed it.

Jarie and Maria Thompson were home for the weekend from Baton Rouge. They visited with Tanja Thompson before going on to Monroe to see more family and friends.

Happy Birthday this week to: Mark Thomas on August 6th, James Hough, Toni Thompson, Raileigh Hunter, Katelyn Mann, Matt Steele on August 7th, LaShonda Rodden, B.B. Thompson, Riley Barton on August 8th, Stephanie Stokes, Heather Silk, Bobbie Stell and Carly Mann on August 11th, my baby boy John, Jan Farrar Weems and Karleigh Cheek on August 12th. May these celebrate many more happy ones.
