Holly Ridge Happenings

Dear God, I looked up Sunday at lunch time and Phil Allbritton and Bobby Hales was coming in. Well I went down the line on Phil before I got him right. They were hot, tired and thirsty. They had been working on dear stands and feeders. Tammie C. Johnson was by one day on her way to visit Denise. They have moved back to near Oak Ridge/Start are so maybe we will get to see her more often. She said that Debra Cheek had been over visiting with her. It’s been a while since I last saw Deb.

Enjoying the Class Reunion of 1957 of Holly Ridge School on Saturday evening was: Lloyd and Carol Crain, Tommy and Shirley Thompson, Walter Lester, Simmie and Barbara Delaney, Wesley Hicks, Dan and Carol Little, Charles R. and Jo McDonald, Gaynell and Catherine Stokes, Elizabeth Sharplin, Bob Tatum, Karlyn Ulmer and Harvey and Louise Cater. If your name did not appear on my list then shame on you. We had a great time at the Picadilly in Monroe. Thanks to Dan and Carol Little who arranged the place for us. Carol had centerpieces on each table in bud vases. We ate, visited and left. No cleanup and for us the little waitresses were really great. Maybe next year, Okay?
