The Pastor Stole Our Spoon
A pastor had dinner at the home of a couple in his church. After he left, the wife said to her husband “I think he stole our spoon!” This bothered her for a whole year. A year later the couple had the pastor for dinner again. Unable to resist, the wife asked, “Did you steal our spoon last year?” The pastor replied, “No, I put it inside your Bible.”
Danille Duckworth and Jax, her co-worker Jessica Poland, Kaylee, Cade, Maddox and Reid recently enjoyed a few days down on the sandy beaches at Gulfshores. Enjoyed every minute.
Jeanne and Greg Thompson spent last Thursday and Friday in Clarksdale Ms. Celebrating Greg’s 59th birthday. It was a adventure seeing the shot gun houses, silos that has been revised into beautiful “motels” again turned into restaurants and crafts. Seeing is believing.
Naoman and Nett Barrier enjoyed having Mississippi company show up at their place with ice chest full of white perch filet that fed 25 farm hands and families. They did enjoy the fish fry with all of the trimmings. Of course the company had to come down for their favorite ice cream.
For those of you who celebrated your birthday the last two weeks. I hope it was a great one.
I’ve been under the “something” with this broken arm. Doing better but long ways from good yet! I wish these many more happy ones!
Anniversary wishes this week to: Cindy and Keith Holley on October 2nd. May they share many happy years together.
