Christmas parade slated by Kiwanis

The Rayville Kiwanis Club has set Dec. 2 as the date for the annual Christmas Parade.
This year’s theme is “His Story.” The parade will begin in the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Rayville at 10 a.m. and will finish at the same location. Check in time will be 9:30 a.m. Rain out will be decided at 9:30 a.m. In the case of a rain out, the parade will be re-scheduled to the following Saturday.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three floats of non-profit clubs, organizations, churches and schools as follows: first place, $100; second place, $75; and third place, $50.
A trophy for the first place will be awarded to the winning business or corporate float.
Three wheelers, four wheelers and go-cars will not be allowed to enter the parade unless part of an organized group.
Horses will be allowed to follow the parade.
Floats having children on them must be escorted by at least four adults. One must walk in front of the float, one behind the float, and one on each side.
You must provide your own candy or trinkets.
