RPSO heads up early morning drug roundup

During the early morning hours of Jan. 22 the Richland Parish Sheriff Office, Louisiana Probation and Parole and Rayville Police Department executed RPSO narcotics arrest warrants.

These warrants stem from an eight-month investigation. Arrest warrants were issued for 31 individuals, totaling nearly 70 charges. Of the 31 suspects, 18 were arrested. In addition to RPSO’s warrants, one subject was arrested on a probation and parole warrant. 

Arrested in the roundup are as follows:

• Jimmy D. Hedgman 22, of Delhi, bond $75,000, was charged with one count distribution of hydrocodone and one count of distribution of a legend drug;

• Leodis Monroe Jr., 42, of Rayville, bond $100,000, was charged with two counts of distribution of synthetic marijuana;

• Marco P. Madison, 25, of Rayville, bond $25,000, was charged with one count of distribution of Xanax;

• Marquis Reynolds, 21, of Rayville, bond $150,000, was charged with two counts distribution of “crack” cocaine and one count distribution of synthetic marijuana.

• Dennis R. Coon, 56, of Rayville, bond $50,000, was charged with one count distribution of synthetic marij uana.

• Travis Pleasant, 34, of Rayville, bond $50,000, was arrested at the Richland Parish Detention Center and charged with one count of distribution of synthetic marijauna;

• Terrell Reynolds, 21, of Rayville, bond $50,000 was arrested at the Richland Parish Detention Center and charged with one count distribution of synthetic marijuana;

• Deleyoung Miller, 21, of Rayville, bond $50,000, was charged with one count of distribution of synthetic marijuana;

• Carlos D. Williams, 35, of Rayville, bond $200,000, was charged with four counts of distribution of “crack” cocaine.

• Caleb Thornhill, 27, of Rayville, bond $100,000, was charged with one count of distribution of methamphetamine.

• Deshawn Gipson, 20, of Rayville, bond $100,000, was charged with two counts of distribution of synthetic marijuana;

• Linda Washington, 40, of Rayville, bond $100,000, was charged with two counts of distribution of synthetic marijuana;

• Aphelia Houston, 35, of Rayville, bond $50,000, was charged with one count of distribution of “crack” cocaine;

• Frank L. Hatton, 53, of Rayville, bond $50,000, was charged with one count of distribution of “crack” cocaine;

• Jessica S. Williams, 25, of Delhi, bond $50,000, was charged with one count of distribution of “crack” cocaine;

• Stephanie L. Fabela, 29, of Rayville, bond $350,000, was charged with three counts of distribution of Fentanyl and one count of distribution of methamphetamine;

• David Fabela Jr., 29, of Rayville, bond $150,000, was charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, one count of distribution of synthetic marijuana; and

• Joshua M. Tibbs, 32, of Rayville, no bond, probation and parole warrant.
