Anna Mae Dees

Graveside services for Anna Mae Dees, 84, of Rayville, LA were held 10:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Rev. David Herrington officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Mrs. Anna was born November 17, 1930 in Rayville, LA and passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Anna enjoyed horticulture, her pets, and LSU Football. She owned and operated Dees’ Plant Nursery for 30 years where she sold a lot of flowers and plants and gave out free advice. She loved to share her stories about old times. Mrs. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Tinker” Dees, Sr.; parents, Walter and Myrtle Nance; and brother, Lloyd Nance.
Survivors include children, Donald Dees, Jr. and partner, David Warren of Rayville, Keith Dees and wife, Judy of Sevierille, TN, and Robyn Hillman and husband, Walter of Rayville; grandchildren, Jereme Dees, Brandon Dees, and Mariana Tarver; great granddaughter, Eva Rae Dees; and her niece, Debbie Nance.
