Caron Mulhern Bragg

Funeral services for Caron M. Bragg, 73, were held  Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Interment followed in Forest Park Cemetery West.  

Caron was born August 11, 1941 in Kilgore Texas to Jean Ford Mulhern and James Alexander Mulhern and entered into rest on Thursday, May 14, 2015 after succumbing to an illness. 

Caron graduated from Rayville High School in 1959 and received a Master of Science degree in Biology from Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe.  Caron retired from LSUHSC  in 2001 after working in the Department of Pathology for many years.   She enjoyed her days of leisure spending time gardening, shopping and with her book club friends.  She was an active member of Lakeview United Methodist Church. 

She will be greatly and forever missed by her children,  Laura Cairns, Allison Gibbs and Alan Gross,  sister Ruby Stewart and brother-in-law John Stewart, daughter-in-law Mary Gross, sons-in -law Dale Gibbs, Rick Cairns and grandchildren Haley Gibbs, Caroline Gibbs and Justin Gross.  

Serving as Pallbearers were Rick Cairns, Randy Cox, Dale Gibbs, Alan Gross, Justin Gross and  Cody Todd.  

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials  be made to Lakeview United Methodist Church , 5550 S. Lakeshore Dr.,  Shreveport, 71119 or to the ALS Association, P.O. Box 66825, Baton Rouge, LA 70896.
