Funeral services for Lillie Carolyn Dupont, 89, of Rayville, Sunday, November 5, 2017 were held at First Baptist Church, Rayville with Bro. Eddie Wren officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Carolyn was born August 26, 1928 in Perry, FL and passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Rayville, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Dupont; parents, Mattie and Andrew Sellers, brothers Huey, J.B., and Alvin Sellers and sister Gloria Murray.
Carolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Rayville. She sang in the First Baptist Choir for over 60 years, lead GAs, children choirs, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She loved her family, church, and community. She enjoyed a truly wonderful life.
Survivors include her children and spouses, John Dupont and wife Teri of Lafayette, Dr. Paul Dupont of Alexandria, James Dupont and wife Patti of Monroe, Stephen Dupont and wife Kim of Rayville; 13-grandchildren, DeAnna Milillo, Drew Dupont, Matthew Dupont, Brian Dupont, Hailey Dupont, Jessica Cooper, Joshua Dupont, Seth Dupont, Christopher Dupont, Anna Pursifull, Allen Dupont, Dr. Brandon Dupont and Cara Barthel; great grandchildren, Sadie, Jacob, Larkin, Noah, Sally Louise, Jordan, Caroline, Parker, Cameron, Emma, Baylor, Paxton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Baptist Children Home, or the music program at First Baptist Church Rayville, LA.
