Services for Stephen Wayne Myres, 35, of Start, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the Mulhearn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Thomas offi ciating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville. Stephen was born on April 27, 1979 in Ft. Worth, TX and passed from this life on March 1, 2015 in Start, LA. Stephen loved the outdoors and loved to hunt. He served his country in the Army and was Post Commander of Chapter 51 in Monroe DAV. He was a police offi cer for the city of Monroe for two years. He is survived by his parents, James and Alice Myres of Start; two children, Lukas James Myres and Jackie Lynn Myres of Azle, TX; brother, Dameon Myres and wife Joni of Salt Lake City, UT; the mother of his children, Angell Myres of Azle, TX; sevenaunts; two uncles; and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be John Tomas, Chris Tomas, Don Price, Mike Barham, Chad Ladner and Jason Rufi no. In lieu of fl owers Memorial made to WoundedWarriors or charity of one’s Choice. Online registry and condolences made at www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com.
