The First Baptist Church of Rayville is the collection location for Shoebox Ministry for our area. Packed shoeboxes will be received Nov. 14-21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. week days and Saturday.

Johnny W. Kline, 70, of Mangham was born on August 6, 1947 in Winnsboro to his parents-Leonard Jennings and Eddie Mae McCartney Kline and passed from this life on November 2, 2017 in Wisner.

After a one-hour delay due to lighting strikes in the atmosphere last Friday night’s matchup between the Riverfield Academy Raiders and the Columbia Academy Cougars got underway at 8 pm.
The Rayville Hornets defeated the General Trass Panther 40-12 last Friday night.
The Hornets are now 6-4 overall and 5-1 in district play.
