DHS powerlifters win big

Delhi High School’s powerlifters participated in a meet in Donaldsonville Saturday. Awards were given to the top three lifters per weight class. Tre Sharp and Johnathon Fountain were both awarded the outstanding lifting trophy for the light and heavy classes. The regional meet will be at West Monroe High School, followed by the state championship meet will be March 19 at Ewing Coliseum on the University of Louisiana, Monroe campus.
