Gators improve to 8-10

The Delhi Charter Gators baseball team won three of four games this week to improve to 8-10 (1-1 in District 2-1A).
DCS also won their first district baseball game since 2012 with a 18-6 takedown of St. Frederick. The Gators fell to St. Frederick 2-1 in the rematch before taking both games of a doubleheader versus Rayville on Friday by scores of 7-6 and 14-3.
The Gators were lead by sophomore Zach Parks, who commands a 3.08 ERA with 40 strikeouts on the mound, while also batting .361 with 21 RBI’s for the season.
