Jimmy Roy Rogers Sr.

Funeral services for Jimmy Roy Rogers Sr., 69, of Rayville will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Mangham Baptist Church, Mangham, LA with Bro. Rick Aultman officiating.

Interment will be in the Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Jimmy was born June 20, 1946 in Mangham, and passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Rayville.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Mable Rogers; brothers, Bobby and Lowell Rogers; and sister, Agnes Mosley.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sue Deere of Rayville; children, Alicia Rogers of Rayville and Jimmy Roy Rogers, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Rayville; grandchildren, Joshua Rogers, Jonathan Rogers, Brittany Holbrook, Jace Rogers, and Danyl Rogers; great grandchild, Camden Lewis; special grandchild, Kyleigh Ragsdale; sisters, Louise Jones of Mangham and Beatrice Stephenson and husband Travis of Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Kathy Rogers of West Monroe and Sandra Lowentritt of Rayville; brother-in-law, Talmadge Deere of Michigan; special friend, Stevie Gray;  and a host of nieces and nephews

Pallbearers were Jacob Jones, Jarrett Jones, Jordan Deere, Scott Allen, Jerry Thompson and Jeff Oram.

Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons of the Mangham Baptist Church.
