Blessings come in many guises.

When troubles comes and things go wrong, and days are cheerless and nights are long, we find it so easy to give in to despair by magnifying burdens we bear. 

We add to our worries by refusing to try to look for “the rainbow” in an over cast sky and the blessings God sent in a “darkened disguise. 

Our trouble hearts fail to recognize not knowing God sent it not to distress us but to strengthen our faith and redeem us and bless us.  As for God, his way is perfect. Psalms 18:20 

My Granddaughter, Lena Kate Thompson Burdeaux was honored at ULM Medical Laboratory Science Seniors Banquet on May 5th, 2016. Attending oon Lena’s behalf was her husband Tyler Burdeaux, her mom and dad, Pam and John Thompson and Tyler’s mom and dad, Rhonda and David Burdeaux. All had a great time.

Here last week was Lee and Melva Thompson Summers from Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Sherman and Geneva Williamson. We had a short but enjoyable visit. 

Bobbie Fallon from Ruston (I did not know she had moved) and her son, Bubba, came by on Thursday. She is always faithful to stop in and say hello (hello Jim and Jean),.

Louise Carter enjoyed her mothers day in Jackson with her children and most of all great grand Kyle Jo.

Dennis Farrar stopped in on Sunday just riding through the country side remembering when.

Happy Birthday this week to: Sarah Patrick, Heather Pyles and Rusty Chislom on May 13th, My Joshua Graham on May 14th, Justin Deere, Ben O’Neal on May 15th, Roy McCormick on May 16th, John Thomas, Chris gilley on May 17th.

 May all of these celebrate many more!

Anniversary wishes to: Tammy and Noel Johnson (38 years) on May 13th, Sandie and Glynn Stanley (34 years) May 15th. May these share many more happy years together!
