Delhi Middle School JAG induction held

The JAG-LA chapter at Delhi Middle School partook in their Initiation and Installation Ceremony on March 27.

The purpose of the ceremony is to initiate all JAG students into the Career Association and to install the officers. The goals of the Career Association are to provide members with activities for recognizing developing leadership abilities through individual and group conferences; assist members with becoming prepared for their careers by being oriented to career possibilities through tours, travel, career development conferences, job fairs, and guest speakers; aid members in recognizing their obligations to the community by completing community service projects; and to maintain a program of social activities to provide an outlet for student enthusiasm, motivation, and membership interaction. 

The officers  selected are President De’Ann Banks, Vice President of Career Preparation Markiya Tucker-Williams, Vice President of Civic and Social Activities Jazmine McDowell, Vice President of Leadership Development Ladarrius Jackson and Secretary Tyreona Smith. The Delhi Middle School JAG chapter is overseen by Veronica Culverson.
