“I have lived my entire life in District 9 of Richland Parish - my home. I was married here, and my wife and I raised our children and now grandchildren here. I have worked in District 9 as a farmer and businessman, and my wife has worked as a para-professional in the school system.

“For our entire adult lives, we have financially contributed to our community by paying local taxes, and over the years, I have served my community and parish through public service. As a 19 year member of the Richland Parish School Board, I will bring quality leadership skills and experience to the Richland Parish Police Jury. In addition, I have served as President or Vice President of the School Board for every term, and as a member of the finance committee, I acquired invaluable experience as a steward of taxpayer money. This entailed and required my working with five different superintendents, over 600 employees and $55 Million budgets. One of the accomplishments that I am most proud of is Mangham’s debt-free school system with quality educational facilities and personnel. I truly believe that an investment in our treasured children is an investment in our future. It’s with sincere gratitude that I ask for your vote and support in the upcoming election and pledge that with the same dedication, experience and integrity I served with on the Richland Parish School Board, I will serve on the Richland Parish Police Jury representing District 9.”

“An organization, no matter how well designed, is only as good as the people who live and work in it” - Dee Hock
