Bluegrass Fest starts Wednesday in Oak Grove

Lively tunes from banjos, fiddles, ukelele, guitar and more instruments blended with talented singing voices will provide entertainment for the crowds of Bluegrass music lovers coming to the Thomas Jason Lingo Center for the 12 Annual Fall Bluegrass Festival this week.
Starting Wednesday with a 6 PM potluck supper in which fans join performers for fellowship, devotion and a Bluegrass Gospel Music, the event will continue Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Showtimes are 6:30 PM Thursday, and at 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. Sponsors say there will also be some organized jams Thursday and Friday at which all jammers are welcome.
Admission is $15 per person Thursday, $20 per person Friday, and $28 per person Saturday. A three-day pass is $55.
The Bluegrass Festival will feature The Lil’ Roy & Lizzy Show, Thursday and Friday; Goldwing Express, Friday and Saturday; Posey Hill, Saturday; Bayou Valley Boys, Wednesday and Thursday; Interstate 30, Saturday;The Baker Family, Thursday and Friday; Grand Prairie, Thursday and Friday; Catahoula Drive, Saturday.
The popular festival draws fans from across the country, man who park their campers at the site or in the town park RV area.
Local Bluegrass fans join them to enjoy a weekend of great Bluegrass music and fellowship.
