Operation Mayhem brings 15 arrests in West Carroll Parish

Fifteen people have been arrested on drug charges at the conclusion Thursday, May 7 of the West Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Department yearlong narcotics investigation.  

The Sheriff’s Department along with the NLDEB Task Force, the Oak Grove Police Department, the Pioneer Police Department, the Kilbourne Police Department, the East Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Department, the Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries conducted Operation Mayhem resulting in the arrest of 15 people charged with various drug and weapons violations in West Carroll Parish.

Those facing drug and other charges from the Operation Mayhem team’s efforts are listed.

(1)Joe Brown B/M, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine,   $25,000 Bond.

(2)Mark Freeman B/M, Distribution of Methamphetamine 2 Cts, $50,000 Bond each  Distribution of Cocaine $50,000.

(3)Steven Freeman B/M, Distribution of Marijuana 2 Cts, $25,000 Bond each                   Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana 2 Cts $12,500 Bond each. 

(4) James “Jim” Gaston W/M , Distribution of Methamphetamine, $50,000 Bond,  Distribution of CDS in the presence of a minor, $5,000 Bond.

(5)Rodney Gray W/M, Distribution of Methamphetamine, $50,000 Bond  .

(6) Larry “Dewed” Gregory W/M, Distribution of Marijuana $25,000 Bond.

(7) Donald “Duck” Jordan B/M , Distribution of Methamphetamine, 2 Cts $50,000 Bond each.

(8) LaStephanie Keys B/F, Possession W/intent Marijuana, $25,000 Bond,                                Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, $12,500 bond, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, $1,000 Bond.

(9) Chaderrick Owens B/M, Poss of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, 2 Cts $50,000 Bond each, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, 2 Cts, $10,000 Bond each.

(10) Robert “Bobby” Robinson W/M Distribution of Crack Cocaine $50,000 Bond            Possession of Cocaine $5,000 Bond.

(11) Jessica Smith W/F, Distribution of Hydrocodone $10,000 Bond       Distribution of Alprazolam $10,000 Bond    Possession of Hydrocodone $3,000 Bond  Possession of Alprazolam $3,000 Bond    Possession of a firearm in Presence of CDS $5,000 Bond

(12) Timothy Stampley W/M, Distribution of Methamphetamine, 3 Cts $50,000 Bond each. 

(13) Jessie Steed W/M, Distribution of Methamphetamine $50,000 Bond.

(14) Brandon Ward B/M, Possession of a Firearm by a convicted, Felon 2 Cts $50,000 Bond each,  Possession of a Stolen Firearm 2 Cts, $10,000 Bond each.

(15) Christopher Alexander, Possession W/ Intent Marijuana, $25,000 Bond,            Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana ,$12,500 Bond, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia $1,000 Bond
