Tinsel in Tensas, Fall Harvest Days set for October 31

In Tensas Parish

The Tensas Revitalization Alliance group is preparing for their Fifth Annual “Tinsel in Tensas” event, “Fall Harvest Days”.
This year’s event will be held Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tensas Parish Community Center on Highway 65 in St Joseph.
The event will feature numerous local and regional artisans, bakers and crafters displaying their merchandise. Vendors will be selling crafts, Christmas items, pictures, wood carvings, children’s clothing, soaps, lotions, jewelry, monogrammed items, home decor, quilts, and accessories.
Custom DMD bags will be featured. Breads, pies, cakes, cookies, chicken salad, jams, and jellies will also be available
There are still several nice spots left for vendors and the Alliance invites anyone interested in participating as a vendor to contact Martha Graves at (318)749-9642.
Large crowds are expected this season and local vendors shouldn’t miss out on this opportunity to market and sell their goods.
Live musical entertainment will be on hand, as well as local food tents with items such as jambalaya, shrimp pasta, hamburgers, and hot dogs, for a full day of fun and shopping.
Everyone is asked to please mark their calendars and be sure to attend this wonderful local event.
