New charges filed against Holly Ridge PTO officer

Additional charges have been brought against a Holly Ridge High School PTO officer.

Wendy Chislom of the Holly Ridge PTO was initially arrested Feb. 10,  for Unauthorized Use of an Access Card resulting from the personal use of a Holly Ridge Elementary Parent Teacher Organization debit card.  Chisolm posted a $5,000 bond and was released from Richland Parish Detention Center on Feb. 11.

The investigation continued and the Holly Ridge Elementary PTO accounts were audited. On Feb. 17, Richland Parish Sheriff’s Investigators received the audit report from the accountant at the Richland Parish School Board.

The audit report revealed that the debit card theft, originally believed to be around $1,400, amount was $1,678.03.  The audit also revealed Chisolm failed to deposit approximately $3,675 in cash funds.

Wendy Lynette Chisolm, 32, of Rayville was arrested on the new charge of felony theft related to the theft of $3675 cash at approximately 1:46 p.m. Feb. 18. 

Chilsom was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center and was released at 5:58 p.m. after posting a $10,000 bond.
