Rayville police to honor fallen officer Saturday

The Rayville Police Department will host a memorial unveiling ceremony in honor of slain offi cer, Sgt. Thomas M. Alexander at 1 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Louisa Street and Hwy 80. “We encourage you allto come out and show your appreciation and remembrance of a man who gave his all to serve and protect the citizens of this community,” Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson said. Alexander was shot andkilled Sept. 11, 2010 while responding to a burglary in progress in Richland Parish. To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition
