Funeral services for Lee Ola Hill, 80, of Rayville, LA were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Rev. Amos Humphries and Rev. John Cleveland officiating.
Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Mrs. Lee Ola was born February 11, 1937 in Archibald, LA and passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Rayville, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrt T. Hales, Sr. and Atsie Mae Stanford Hales; and grandson, Jeffrey Carter.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Tom Hill, Sr. of Rayville; children, Thomas Rogers Hill, Jr. of Rayville, Jeffery Hill and wife, Monique of Midway, AL, and Beth Hill Posey and husband, Mark of Manassas, VA; grandchildren, Jeremy Hill and wife, Christina, Casey Johnson, Alexander Hill, Jonathan Hill, Amanda Posey Head and husband, Chris, and Sarah Posey Orr and husband, Blake; great grandchildren, Patrick Carter, Graecyn Ewing, and Luke Orr; and brother, Myrt T. Hales, Jr. and wife, Angela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James “Imp” Hendrix, Roger Woods, Roy Wiggins, James Adcock, Jr., Charles McDonald and Rob Landry.
Honorary pallbearers were Cordell Phillips, Ben Clack, Joe Moore and Greg Johnson.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Maxine Hill, James “Imp” Hendrix, Rhonda Griffin, and Dr. Kyle Bruyninckx, and the staff of Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehab.
