DHS students remember 9/11

September 11, 2001, is a day that will always be remembered by Americans.
In memory of 9/11, Delhi High School allowed students to take a journey down memory lane.
During Response to Intervention classes, teachers read the article “September 11th Attacks (9/11) Reading” explaining to students what happened on this day. Students discussed what happened, the effect it had on the United States, and why the date is significant to many firefighters.
Since September 17 was on a Sunday, Constitution Day was celebrated at DHS on Wednesday, September 20.
Teachers delivered instructions commemorating the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution.
Teachers and students read “The U.S. Constitution” article and completed a guided reading handout.
