Oak Grove sets town meeting on backflow

A town hall meeting for residents has been called for the Fiske Theatre May 11 at 6 PM to discuss water backflow prevention that is mandated by a federal agency.
Susan Robbins, from Louisiana Rural Water Association, has been scheduled to speak to citizens.  She is coming as a courtesy to the town to help explain and answer any questions about the program, Mayor Adam Holland states.
“It will be very valuable for all customers of the Oak Grove Water System to attend and learn how it affects them,” the mayor said of the meeting on the backflow mandate.
He said every water system is affected by the requirement from DHH.
