Tensas Farmer’s Market slated to begin Memorial Day weekend

The Tensas Revitalization
Alliance is again
sponsoring the St. Joseph
Tailgate Farmer’s Market
at the “Levee” in St. Joseph.
The first Market Day
will be Memorial Day
Weekend, May 29 and
will continue through the
summer, ending Labor
Day Weekend, Sept. 3.
The market will open
every Saturday morning
at 8 am, and end at 11
am.
There will be no
charge for vendor space.
Martha Graves of the
Tensas Revitalization Alliance
said, “Just come
and park your vehicle at
the foot of the Levee and
begin selling your wares
out of the back of your
car or truck.”
According to Graves,
“We are always looking
for new produce, crafts,
and food vendors and
we invite you to come.
Remember everything
needs to be handmade
and home grown.”
If you have questions
or would like to become
a market vendor, you
may call Martha Graves
at 749-9642 or Lynn
