DCS attends 7-on-7 tourney

Delhi Charter took 24 student-athletes to the annual LSU 7-on-7 Tournament & Lineman Camp on July 18. 

After a fun-filled day of team bonding at Blue Bayou water park, the players received individualized instruction from LSU coaches and were inspired by Coach Les Miles.

DCS finished 4-0-1 in the tournament with wins over Carroll Academy, Mentorship Academy, Grand Lake and Warren Easton B-team to finish the number one seed and play for the Division IV Championships.  

DCS fell short in a rematch with Warren Easton B-team.  Both Waren Easton teams won championships in Division IV and Division II.  The lineman worked in the indoor practice facility with current and former LSU players and coaches. 

DCS players participating included  Alandis Stubblefield, Rodney Mitchell, J.T. Williams, Kody Ellis, Quinton White, Mason Hale, Azavier Stubblefield, Clayton Slade, Mikey Henson, Bobby Benson, Joshua Poland, Reed McMurry, Thomas Paul Johnston, Cody Smith, Kaleb Offord, Kemo Wilford, Trey Welch, Josh Turner, Marc Sanchez, Anthony Smithey, Lawson Nelson, Austin Mahoney, Cole Saldana and Kendal Offord.
