Delhi Cub Scout Pack 227 members Bennett Johnston took first place and Colt Sykes took second place in the Louisiana Purchase Council 2015 Pioneer District Pinewood Derby March 28 at the First United Methodist Church in West Monroe. Both boys will compete April 11 at the Louisiana Purchase Council race at Pecanland Mall. Dillion Davis of Delhi was also a top 20 finisher. The Pioneer District serves six parishes with about 450 Cub Scouts.
