God uses problems to inspect you! People are like tea bags. If you want to know what’s inside them, just drop them into hot water. Has God ever tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal to you? When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and will give you patience! James 1:2-3

Coming by on Saturday was Jean Caston Bailey and her daughter from Ruston. They brought beautiful flowers for the cemetery for Fathers Day. Kids were hungry so they headed for a hamburger place. Monday, Algie and Joann Nicholson Futch stopped in for ice cream. They had their travel trailer over at Poverty Point for a few days.

Larrine Carroll from Caney Lake and her brother Ricky Phillips stopped in on Monday just going down memory lane they said.

Happy Birthday this week to: Carly Cade on June 25th, Lee Corbert, Josh Absher and Katie Lagendyk on June 26th, Tommy James, Spencer and Mae Elkins on June 27th, Mrs. Martill Hardy on June 28th, Iris Mayberry on June 29th, Brooke Vaughne, Bobby Hales, Justin Dove on June 30th, my daughter-in-law Pam Thompson, Drew Clack, Kelsey Moore and Madiline and Katheryn Lucus on July 1st. May these celebrate many more happy healthy ones.

Happy 28th anniversary to Connie and Robert O’Neal on June 27th. I wish them many more happy years together!
