Holly Ridge Happenings for April 9, 2015

Greg and Joanne Thompson traveled down to the gulf shore on Monday. They wen to do a little something on the condo that they get to use during the summer. On Thursday, Emily, Cooper, Ahndi, Ainsley and Johna went down to share the weekend on the beach with them. First trip to the beach this year but definitely not the last.

Roger and Dollie Dew were down from Springhill earlier in the week so I hear but they did NOT come by to say hell to me. Shame, shame!

The children at Bethel enjoyed an egg hunt, pizza and making resurrection cookies on Saturday afternoon in the gym. Those who were there had a great time and we enjoyed the cookies after worship service on Sunday. The cookies were hollow (the tomb was empty). So neat!

Rebecca Rawls is back at Rayville Guest Home after a bit of a set back -- doing fine now.

Jimmy Smith is recuperating slowly after his accident on his four wheeler on Monday.

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Nolan Franklin who passed away on Saturday. May God’s love be sufficient to comfort them at this time.

Happy birthday this week to the Brock twins, Beau and Dylan (three years) on April 9; Margie Chisolm and Analeigh Simmons (three years) on April 10; Kay Bryant, Joney Adams, Steven Cobb and Kelli H. Thames on April 11; Neal Rawls on April 12; Aunt Lannie Thompson, Ashley Pyles, Daniel Rawls, Chad Rawls and Caleb Hamm on April 13; Brian Pruitt on April 14; Joshua Toney, Kim Tannhill and Allie Frith Hale on April 15. May they celebrate many more happy ones!

Gosh, no anniversaries listed, but if you have one, have a happy one!

Have a good week! Please call or come!
