Edmund Williamson

Memorial services for Edmund Williamson, 84, of Rayville, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. Glenn Guilliams and Bro. Bo Horne officiating. 

Mr. Edmund was born November 22, 1931 and passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 in Rayville, LA.

Ed had a wonderful memory and found enjoyment reminiscing with family and friends.  Many hours were spent sitting on the front porch telling stories and watching his cows as they walked to the lake for an evening drink.  He will be dearly missed, but is in a better place with his beloved wife Ramona. Ed was also a member of the Union Methodist Church and a retiree of T. L. James & Co.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ramona Bacle Williamson; children, Lynne Williamson, Edmund Williamson, III; siblings, Ann Cummins and Jim Williamson; and parents, Edmund C. Williamson and Rubye.

Survivors include his son, Brooks Williamson and wife, Iva; daughter, Tina Guilliams and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Chris Williamson and wife, Mistie, Soren Fleming, Ramona Crow and husband, Jonathan, Brooke Crawford and husband, Dustin; and his great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home.
