PRAYER
When my day starts with Prayer and ends with Prayer, everything between seems to always work out! When you kneel down to God, He stands up for you, and when He stands up for you, no one can stand against you. Heavenly Father, keep my heart free from hate. Keep my mind from worry. Help me to live simply, give greatly and fill my life with love.
God is no stranger in a faraway place, He’s as close as the wind that blows across your face. It’s true I can’t see the wind as it blows, but I feel it around me and my heart surely knows. That God’s mighty hand can be felt every minute. For there is nothing on earth that God isn’t in it. The sky and the stars, the waves and the sea, the dew on the grass, the leaves on a tree are constant reminders of God and His nearness proclaiming His presence with crystal like clearness. So how could I think God was far, far away when I feel Him beside me every hour of the day and I’ve plenty of reasons to know God’s my friend and that His one friendship that time cannot end! Faith tells me that no matter what lies ahead, God is already there.
Belated birthday to Charlene Towers on November 9th. Happy birthday this week to Jenny Nix, Menko Thompson, Elizabeth Ann Mims, Rachel Wastson on November 10th, Monty Hogg, Oliver Nix, Courtney Thompsn on November 11th, Barbara Blaylock, Alrisha Blaylock, Jennifer Williams and my twin granddaughters Lindsey McMillian and LeAnn Rawls on November 12th, My great niece, Remona Rawls on November 13th, Kellly Hogg on November 15th. May these celebrate many more happy ones!
Anniversary wishes to: Bro. Mike and Regina Clark on November 10th, Alan and Patrica Thompson on November 11th, Tom and Betty Jo Cullum on November 12th, and Shane and Tammie Pitman on November 16th. May these spend many more happy years together.
