Congratulations! Little Harrison Andrew Puckett arrived at the Womens’s Hopsital in Baton Rouge on November 16th at 8:19 p.m. Harrrison tipped the scales at 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. His proud parents are Jeff and Amber Puckett, His Maternal Grandparents are Jody Stokes of Baton Rouge and Mitchell Stokes of Holly Ridge. My Greg and Jeanne are back on the Kingspoint Island, North of Vicksburg cooking and taking care of the hunting members of Richland Plantation Hunting Club. Doug and Nellie Thompson from Monroe come over for a visit on Tuesday.
Kay Bryant is finally back at home after some three or more weeks in Georgia with John and Jackie Mathis. Had a great time but if left up to John and Jackie she would never come home! Cecil and Rose Mary Ward drove over from Mississippi on Friday to pick up all of thier pecans I had got for them. Short hello and good-bye but better than none.
We at Bethal enjoyed our Thanksgiving lunch on Sunday. Plenty of food, fun and fellowship. Patsy Mann and Elsie Hurt stopped in on Sunday on their way to the visitation of Lydell McManus.
The Holly Ridge Class of 1964 had their class reunion on November 12th, 1016 at the Beouf River Country Club. There was plenty of all kind of barbeque with all its trimmings. Those who attended were: Patsy and Richard Mann, Kenneth and Suzanne Hales, Kenneth Phillips and friend Georgia, Allen and Diane Nettles, Wayne and Brenda McManus, Larry and Patty Dew, Betty Odom Corbett, Sarah Slayter Brasher, Margie Collier Thomas, Barbara Rose Lenard, Bonnie Phillips McDowell, Sandra Blaylock Smith, Ellen Vaugh Davis and Judy Smith Watson. A fun time was had by all who attended. Looking forward to another one next year.
