Funeral Service for Mr. Don L. Twiner, 77, of Rayville, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20 2015 in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, with Bro. Jeremy Bullock officiating.

Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Mangham, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.

Don Twiner was born on December 17th, 1937 in Baskin, LA to the union of John and Gladys Twiner, and passed away on May 17th, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a resident of Rayville, LA and a farmer for over 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Twiner; wife, Arline Taylor Twiner and brother, Roy Lee Twiner.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his Son, Donald “Buddy” Twiner and his wife Tammie of Alto, LA; Daughters, Pamela “Suzie” Dickey and her husband Richard of Winnsboro, LA, Vicky Smith and her husband Kenny of Alto, LA, Rhonda Childress and her husband Glenn of Mangham, LA and special friend, Mary Rowland of Rayville, LA; Brothers, Jimmy Twiner and his wife Leola of Winnsboro, LA and W. T. Twiner of Tx; Sisters, Louise Outlaw of Rayville, LA, Maggie Wollerson and her husband Alvin of Winnsboro, LA, Janie Ryan and her husband Ned of Columbia, LA, Mildred Johns of Baskin, LA and Linda Doughty and her husband Joe of Winnsboro, LA. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Twiner, Jared Twiner, George Smith, Jed Smith, Richie Dickey, Josh Dean, Kenny Payne, Alex Duchesne and Austin Payne.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday May 19th, 2015 at Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.
