Sheriff’s office hosts annual Day at the Lake

The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office and Triad  once again invite area seniors to enjoy a day of fun, food and fellowship at Poverty Point Reservoir in Delhi.

The even will begin at 10 a.m. May 13. Senior citizens ages 60 and older are invited.

For those in need of transportation, a school bus will leave the Richland Parish Courthouse at 9:30 p.m.

“It’s something we do to offer a day out for our seniors and to show our appreciating for them,’ Richland Parish Sheriff Lee Harrell said.

Activities for the day include music, fishing, fellowship and food.
